The brief for this short-term group project was to design a 3D puzzle composed of at least six identical abstract forms. The form would be cut out of flat stock using a CNC router.

My team members and I agreed to pursue a balance between geometric and organic shape. I proposed this form based on a series of adjacent circles.

The identical puzzle pieces fit together flat on the ground and joined at numerous angles in space.
